Sylvyas heal their wounds better than humans, leaving no scars behind. If their power happens to be blocked they would not be able to heal themselves as they are dependant on their healing abilities. Without their healing abilities, even a small wound could be deadly as they would bleed to death.

So what is the lapis curse exactly? The lapis curse is a form of magic corruption that manifests when a sylvya has been in psychological turmoil for an extended period of time. This means that those suffering from extreme stress, anxiety, and depression are at risk of collapsing into this condition. The powers of the Sylvya absorb all the negative energy, and the corruption slowly happens over time until they reach a breaking point at which they turn into their corrupted form.

A long time ago, there were birds called Sylvyas. They had healing powers so strong that it could erase scars. Every full moon Sylvyas would come to heal our wounds and sorrows. But one-day Sylvyas stopped coming. No one could be healed, but that was only the beginning one day a dark being appeared from the sky and brought terror to the people an army of Sylvyas humans came to battle against it other Sylvyas came to help and heal they managed to seal most of its power but the people were so desperate for healing that they would begin to hunt Sylvias for their tears, saliva, feathers, blood, and meat because of that Sylvyas had to stay hidden from the world not only to show their bird form but they could not use their healing power.
Once during a great war, a warrior of the name Sylvya Art Solaris and her people fought to their victory. With such a great accomplishment they were rewarded by Solaru the ability to heal to spread hope to the whole world. they were then known as the Sylvyas. the descendants became rulers of the whole queendom. unfortunately one of the descendants was selfish as she wanted more powers she created the curse of the lapis powers.
